Privacy

SB Run is designed to manage a community handicap race on the organiser’s iPhone. It does not require an account and does not send race information to an SB Run server.

Information stored by the app

The app can store runner names, runner categories, target and handicap times, course details, imported GPX routes, race dates, recorded start and finish times, results, correction notes and race history. This information is stored locally on the device.

Photos and camera access

Camera access is optional. If enabled, SB Run can capture start, finish and award photos to help an organiser verify and remember a race. Photo-sharing approval can be recorded for each runner. Photos without approval are removed when the result is finally archived. Retained photos remain part of the local race record until they expire or are deleted through the app.

Sharing and backups

Results, photos and backup files leave the app only when the organiser chooses an iOS sharing, export or Files action. The organiser chooses the destination and is responsible for sharing participant information appropriately. Services selected through the iOS share sheet process information under their own privacy terms.

Website

The SB Run website does not provide user accounts or advertising. Its hosting provider may process limited technical information, such as IP address, browser details and request logs, to deliver and protect the site.

Your choices

Runner, course and race records can be edited or deleted within the app where the race state permits. The app can also create a portable backup before information is removed or transferred to another device.
